Considering the current volatile situation in the world where politicians seem to want to fight for war, Light of Music felt impelled to take some action in the spirit of peace and unity – and what better way to do this but through art?

Therefore we have decided to produce a concert with the aim of promoting peace, unity and harmony between East and West. This will be through the merging of Eastern and Western instruments whilst reciting some wise and compelling words from the great Eastern poets Ferdowsi, Hafez and Rumi.

It must be emphasized that this concert is not a commercial venture and the funding required will be over and above any revenue from ticket sales. It is for this reason that we rely heavily on your generosity in order to continue promoting the universal beauty of Persian poetry and music.
